Senior Adult Ministry
First Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry provides a variety of ministries and activities to and by senior adults that make a difference in the lives of people for now and eternity. Monthly B.A.L.L. Club (Be Active Live Long) meets the first Tuesday of each month and features outstanding programs of motivation, inspiration, and fellowship, all followed by a covered dish luncheon. Senior Adults gather each Tuesday morning at 8:30 am for Dominoes and fellowship. Many gather daily for an early morning walking and aerobic program in the gym.
FBC Senior Adults are always on the go with monthly excursion trips that include interesting sights, shopping, and most important food. Annual trips to various areas of interest and tourism are also planned.
The Homebound/Nursing home ministry provides for those
that are no longer able to get to church through regular deacon delivered Wednesday night suppers, home visits from all ages in the church, and Sunday School literature is regularly delivered and taught to those interested. The Senior Adult Ministry at First Baptist Church is not about age, it is about people.
